Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking an Assembly, Integration and Test Technician to join our Defense Sector Manufacturing Platform Integration Facility. You will work in a team to assemble large structures, monitor quality, and ensure proper documentation and process compliance.

A high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience is required, along with proficiency with power and hand tools, the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and the ability to read

High school diploma or GED with 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing or related experience.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Experience with power and hand tools and assembling large structures.
Commitment to quality, documentation, and procedure compliance.
Capability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure documentation is completed on training records and signed by supervisor.
Monitor inventory and supplies usage and maintain proper records.
Understand procedures and communicate them to less experienced teammates.
Interact with supervisors and quality to address issues affecting productivity and quality.
Assist in developing bills of materials and labor cost estimates for proposals.
