Job summary

Parker Aerospace, Exotic Metals Forming Division, is seeking an Experienced Aerospace Assembler in Kent, WA. You will perform a series of basic and some moderately complex operations assembling sheet metal aircraft components using hand and power tools, inspecting work against drawings.

Requires high school diploma or GED, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools. Competitive pay range and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read and understand manufacturing planning, engineering blueprints and sketches.
• Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Able to use mathematics relevant to functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform a series of basic and some moderately complex operations using hand and power tools to assemble sheet metal aircraft components.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to production planning, verbal and written instructions, sketches and specifications.
• Maintain clean, organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Follow and accurately interpret written instructions, drawings, planning, sketches and best practice worksheets.
• Ensure proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning and timecard system.
