Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler for the 2nd Shift to assemble and disassemble life support and related equipment at our Davenport, IA facility. The role involves using a wide range of hand and power tools to create finished units meeting strict specifications.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, basic math and blueprint reading skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and work with limited supervision in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• No immigration sponsorship; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B sponsorship.
• Must reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA (active duty exempt).
• ITAR: U.S. person required for access to ITAR hardware.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble aerospace products from partial to complete.
• Replace malfunctioning parts and/or sub-assemblies as needed.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and rework non-conforming units.
• Perform drilling, countersinking, sanding, and deburring as required.
• Use hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and measuring/test equipment to produce finished units.
