Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an Metallic Additive Materials Application Engineer to lead materials strategy across additive manufacturing technologies including EBM, Binder Jet, and DED for aerospace applications.

You will partner with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to drive capability development, reduce technical risk, and ensure producibility of additively manufactured parts across multiple alloys. Strong communication and project leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or closely related engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years in a materials science or additive manufacturing role.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in aerospace materials/manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive additive materials programs.
• Provide technical guidance on additive manufacturing technologies and capabilities.
• Ensure designs are producible and meet product intent.
• Influence specifications, technical plans, and standard work instructions.
• Communicate with leadership on roadmap and project status.
