Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a hands-on Facilities & Maintenance role within the Additive Manufacturing team. You will address high-precision manufacturing equipment issues and assist with installations and upgrades to keep production moving.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, physical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision environment. U.S. security eligibility is considered, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on ability by completing a project to build/rebuild complex machinery or systems.
• 1-3 years in facilities or maintenance in high-pace manufacturing or high-precision environments.
• Desire to perform hands-on work most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, prevent and correct failures of equipment including laser powder bed fusion printers, EDMs, CNC grinder, mill, lathe.
• Support engineering, AM operations, and R&D teams with infrastructure upgrades, installations, and layout changes.
• Identify facility improvements for growth and smooth production.
