Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a driven Aerospace Account Manager to accelerate growth within a defined customer base. You will manage the full sales lifecycle from identifying opportunities to closing business, serving as the primary commercial and technical interface between customers and RBC's engineering and manufacturing teams.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication, and 40-50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business or related field.
• 3-5+ years of B2B technical sales experience.
• Proven business development success and territory growth.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical concepts.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 40-50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and capture new aerospace and defense business opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow market share within assigned accounts.
• Expand existing relationships while building a pipeline of new opportunities to support programs.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing; maintain pipeline visibility in CRM.
• Track industry trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and share insights with teams.
