Janicki Industries in Layton, Utah, is seeking a Machinist/Mill Technician for the Weekday Grave Shift to set up, machine and inspect complex components in a 5-axis environment. You will read drawings, follow procedures, monitor tools, and maintain equipment while supporting other cells.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Three years machining/mill experience preferred.
• Experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, procedures, blueprints and drawings.
• English language communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Set up, machine and inspect complex components in a 5-axis environment.
• Change and monitor cutting tools; perform part inspection.
• Operate machines and load parts; perform routine maintenance.
• Support other cells and participate in training and safety programs.
