Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Line Mechanic to maintain and repair aerosol manufacturing equipment on filling and packaging lines. This role emphasizes keeping machines running safely, with focus on cGMP compliance and adherence to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting daily production with timely adjustments. The position requires reading blueprints and working across shifts in a fully onsite Branchburg, NJ facility.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in mechanical maintenance or repair in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics used in industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on maintenance support on production lines to keep operations running smoothly.
• Perform mechanical repairs on filling, crimping, and packaging equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to identify root causes.
• Support daily production by addressing equipment issues and adjustments as needed.
• Perform product changeovers following SOPs and work orders.
