Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer (Liaison Engineering) at NAS Whidbey, Oak Harbor, WA. The role supports dispositioning discrepant material tags and repairs design for composite parts, interfacing with suppliers and internal engineering groups.

The position offers two levels (Aeronautical Engineer or Principal Aeronautical Engineer) with salaries ranging from 83,400 to 125,200 USD for the entry level and 103,600 to 155,400 USD for the senior level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience OR Master's with 0 years.
• Hands-on experience in a composites manufacturing facility.
• Experience with composite airframe structures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Interface with multiple suppliers and disposition discrepant material tags.
• Collaborate with Structural Analysis, Materials & Processing, and Manufacturing teams.
• Operate Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in daily tasks.
