Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Tooling Design Engineer to bridge design and production teams in Baltimore, Maryland. You will design and develop tooling for complex aerostructures, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with over 5 years of experience. A strong background in CATIA V5 and composite processes is preferred. The position offers a salary range of $64,400 to $95,900 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing and/or product design.
• Experience working with composite material processes (lay-up, bagging, trimming) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define design requirements, production methodology, and tooling concepts.
• Design tooling for composite bonding, trimming, assembly, inspection, and transport.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Catia V5.
• Ensure tooling complies with engineering specifications and best practices.
