Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a qualified engineer to support the Navy Aeronautical data team, ensuring accurate navigation data for cockpit use in performance-based navigation and mission planning systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance. Experience in avionics data formats and Navy mission planning is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (to include math and science) plus 5+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
• Experience with Navy mission planning systems.
• Experience in Systems & Software requirements analysis, design, and systems integration for medium to high complexity avionics hardware/software systems.
• Familiar with software programming languages and software testing.
• Understanding of aeronautical data formats such as DAFIF, ARINC 424, and aircraft binary formats.
• Working knowledge of aircraft navigation and related systems.

Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline (to include math and science) plus 5 or more years of experience.

Experience in Systems & Software requirements analysis, design, and systems integration pertaining to medium to high complexity aircraft avionics hardware/software systems.

Familiar with software programming languages and software testing.

Understanding of aeronautical data formats such as DAFIF, ARINC 424, and aircraft binary formats.

Working knowledge of aircraft navigation and related systems.

Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience as a pilot, aircraft navigator, or air traffic control specialist.

Expertise in DO-200/201 processes and requirements.

TERPS training.

Familiar with SQL and Access VBA.
