Salary: $84,137 - $130,000

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist with the integration of aeronautical data into aircraft and mission planning systems for Performance-Based Navigation. Analyze the aeronautical data chain from source to final point of use. Perform aeronautical data validation.

Required Skills:

• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline (to include math and science) plus 5 or more years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
• Experience with Navy mission planning systems.
• Experience in Systems & Software requirements analysis, design, and systems integration pertaining to medium to high complexity aircraft avionics hardware/software systems.
• Familiar with software programming languages and software testing.
• Understanding of aeronautical data formats such as DAFIF, ARINC 424, and aircraft binary formats.
• Working knowledge of aircraft navigation and related systems.
• Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience as a pilot, aircraft navigator, or air traffic control specialist.
• Expertise in DO-200/201 processes and requirements.
• TERPS training.
• Familiar with SQL and Access VBA.
