Job summary

Leading Technology Composites in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated individual to provide indirect support for our Aero Layup Department. Responsibilities include setting up tools, loading materials, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

The role requires effective communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to operate a forklift. Prior experience with forklifts is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Provides indirect support for operations in our Aero Layup Department. Responsible for setting up tools, loading materials, and providing other support as directed by a supervisor or a lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Retrieves, sets up, and loads tools and materials as needed across multiple departments
• Forklift operation will be required day to day - can be trained
• Self-starter, able to work independently and with multiple departments
• Communicates with co-workers in a team environment effectively, promoting a positive team environment
• Performs duties in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to safety procedures
• Maintain an organized/ clean space and equipment
• Has regular attendance and arrives on time daily
• Cross trains to support production as needed in Mold Prep/ Debag, Core, and Plaster departments
• Performs other related duties as required

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Continuous standing on concrete surface.
• Exposed to heat during summer months.
• Exposed to chemicals and high heat associated with Eutectic salt.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs individually and over 50 lbs with assistance of another person.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
• Must have a valid Driver's License
