Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Turbine Technician to perform assembly, disassembly, and inspection of Aero-Derivative gas turbine engines and components in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

You will route hardware, perform comprehensive inspections, document discrepancies, and maintain QMS records. Strong tool proficiency and safety discipline are essential for this role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

A&P license or minimum 3 years' experience working in Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine or Aircraft Engine Services.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

Route engine hardware and material in accordance with routing—material handling and storage procedures.
Inspect gas turbine engines and components for serviceability per tech specs and manuals.
Record discrepancies using service manuals as reference.
Maintain documentation of assembly/disassembly or repairs per QMS.
Troubleshoot in-process problems, malfunctions or component failures.
Use precision measuring tools and shop equipment as assigned.
Uphold safety requirements and maintain a safe workspace (FOD prevention).
Work in teams and individually to support improvement projects.
Meet production needs by working required hours.
Perform other duties as requested by Operations leadership.
