Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, aerospace or mechanical engineering, computational science, or related field.
• Must be graduating after September 2027 or beyond.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during summer months.
• Experience with CFD surrogate models, reduced-order models, or data-driven prediction methods.
• Foundational knowledge in mechanical design, aerodynamics, CFD, ML or scientific computing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to aerodynamic development within GM Motorsports.
• Develop CFD workflows from CAD prep to meshing and post-processing.
• Support wind-tunnel testing, data acquisition, and data processing.
