YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Store Team Leader, you are the CEO of your store! You are an entrepreneurial-minded business owner who takes pride in maximizing the daily operations of your store. You are passionate about developing a strong team through effective coaching and training, and you excel at making strategic decisions to drive your business. You consistently deliver operational excellence and ensure your store always meets AEO Brand Standards. Most importantly, you bring your authentic self to work every day!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Passion for results: You drive sales by maximizing store productivity and building guest loyalty through a top-notch guest experience. You create, manage, and own your store's business plan to meet KPI goals.
  • Business innovation: Owning your store's P&L, you analyze reports and sales trends to make real-time, innovative decisions to meet financial goals.
  • People leadership: You recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing team. You foster team development, encourage internal growth opportunities, and have clear career paths for associates. You develop leadership through training, feedback, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Teamwork: You promote a culture of teamwork and recognition by setting goals, holding your team accountable to brand standards, and celebrating achievements.
  • Brand Standards: You ensure your store maintains AEO Visual Standards by managing visual and merchandising processes, Floorsets, and merchandise replenishment, keeping the store guest-ready.
  • Workforce Management: You optimize scheduling based on traffic, calendars, and payroll reports to meet business needs, control payroll, and leverage top talent for excellent guest service.
  • Integrity: You demonstrate integrity in compensation decisions, asset protection, policy adherence, and doing the right thing always.
