YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Selling Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's "go-to" in developing and implementing the business strategy and leading the daily operations of the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into high-performing sellers who consistently provide an unforgettable guest experience. Through your leadership, your team always achieves their sales goals, maintains merchandising brand standards, and delivers operational excellence. Most importantly, you embody our company values and bring your authentic self to work every day.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Driving sales: As a key Leader on Duty (LOD), you excel at maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a top-tier guest experience. You analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic decisions and assist in developing business plans to meet key KPIs.
  2. People leadership: You motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, serve as a role model, and hold your team accountable to uphold customer service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
  3. Talent development: You prioritize recruiting and hiring strong talent and focus on training and developing your team to deliver outstanding service.
  4. Teamwork and engagement: You build a great team by providing ongoing feedback, conducting touch bases, development plans, and performance reviews, and celebrating successes to boost engagement.
  5. Operational innovation: You execute and innovate daily operations, support visual standards, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with Brand Standards.
  6. Integrity: You maintain store safety, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow policies and procedures, and always do the right thing.
