Job summary

Celerity Integrated Services, Inc. in Quakertown, PA is seeking a full-time Aerial and Underground Lineman with directional drilling experience to build, install, and repair fiber optic networks. You will work from project plans, respect customer specifications, and travel as needed, with focus on safety, quality workmanship, and timely completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of hands-on telecommunications or utility-construction experience that includes both aerial and underground fiber or communications line work.
• Hands-on experience operating horizontal directional drills and electronic locating systems is required, with knowledge of bore planning and conduit installation.
• OSHA requirements, 811/One Call practices, traffic control, fall protection, excavation and trenching, rigging, and confined-space safety; OSHA 30 is preferred but not required.
• Valid CDL-A and a current DOT medical card are required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, maintain, and repair aerial and underground fiber optic and telecommunications plant.
• Perform aerial line work from poles and ladders, install strand, hardware, and related components.
• Place, lash, tension, and secure fiber and telecom cables with proper clearances and bend radii.
• Inspect poles, attachments, and work areas; enforce fall protection and safety practices.
