Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seeks a Foreperson to coordinates crew, equipment, and materials to complete tree and vegetation care work to contract specs.

You will oversee safety and operations of the Aerial Bucket truck, perform trimming/removal to clear powerline rights, and ensure OSHA compliance in all field activities. Knowledge of knot tying and rope techniques is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in Vegetation Management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Ability to read and understand contract requirements.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew members and manage equipment each day.
• Plan, assign, and execute tasks safely and professionally.
• Submit timesheets and billing information in AMS system.
• Notify property owners and obtain permission to work on property.
• Oversee equipment usage and keep truck stocked and secure.
• Keep accurate records of time, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain above standard customer relations.

Education

Three years’ experience in Vegetation Management.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
