Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. is seeking a qualified aerial lineman to perform telecom work at construction/service sites. The role involves safely operating boom trucks, climbing poles, and installing/maintaining overhead fiber lines. The ideal candidate has utility/construction experience, a valid CDL, and a clean driving record.

Willingness to travel, strong teamwork, and commitment to safety are essential as you will work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in the utility/construction industry.
• Driver’s license is required, with clean driving record.
• Valid CDL is strongly desired.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a boom truck, climb poles and install/repair overhead fiber lines.
• Lead and motivate crew to meet OSHA, customer and ElectriCom safety requirements, project specs and daily production goals.
• Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
• Understand separation and clearance regulations and follow them.
• Keep detailed records of work activity.
• Work aloft using ladder or bucket truck and travel to multiple sites.
