Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials in the Twinsburg, OH area. This hourly position offers direct involvement in field operations and hands-on training opportunities.

You’ll provide tools and materials, move equipment as needed, and ensure safety protocols like door-tagging are followed daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• Labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
