Job summary

Ledcor Group in the United States is seeking a skilled Lineperson. The role involves operating bucket trucks and lifting gear, installing strand and hardware, and placing fiber optic and coax cables.

This position requires a valid CDL A, 3+ years of related linework, ability to climb poles, and a clean driving record. Travel across Kentucky and nearby states is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active CDL A required.
• Three years of experience directly related experience as a Lineperson or equivalent.
• Ability to climb utility poles with climbing spikes and rigging; experience operating a bucket truck.
• Proficient in new build and pole transfers; knowledge in strand, lashing, pole transfers & grounding.
• Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a clear driver’s abstract.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements and background check.

Work Conditions

Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.). This position will require travel throughout Kentucky and some of the surrounding states as needed.
