Job summary

Ledcor Group seeks an experienced Telecom Project Manager in the United States (SC) to lead large-scale telecom builds, including fiber, small cells, and tower deployments. You will champion safety, manage risk, permits, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and PQP implementation while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of telecom or utility construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Champion and uphold Ledcor’s safety-first culture, ensuring all safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded on telecom construction sites
• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale telecommunications projects, including fiber deployments, small cell installations, and wireless tower builds
• Manage risk management, permitting, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead the identification and pursuit of new telecom project opportunities
• Oversee the project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using industry-standard tools and methodologies
• Lead the implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure compliance with telecom construction standards and specifications
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Negotiate contract execution and change order management
• Help establish and manage project systems, including cost tracking, reporting, and documentation

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of telecom or utility construction project management experience, with a proven track record of leading large, complex infrastructure builds
• Education in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred; diploma or technical training accepted)
• Strong understanding of telecom construction methods, permitting processes, and industry standards (e.g., NESC, NEC, local codes)
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Experience with contract negotiation, cost control, and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is a plus

Working Conditions: This position is primarily hybrid. Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates based on experience, location, and business needs.
