Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re seeking an Aerial Lineman Trainee to join our team and help connect America. The Aerial Lineman Trainee will perform aerial cable installation procedures, including the placement of poles and anchors.

What you’ll do…

1. Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable
2. Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more
3. Safely operate mechanized equipment like bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and more
4. Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, safety barriers
5. Flag traffic when required
6. Understand separation and clearance regulations
7. Work aloft using climbing hooks and ladders safely
8. Maintain safe working conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies

Who we are looking for…

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card
• Possess a valid Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications
• Knowledge of aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
• Ability to climb telephone poles, work in a bucket truck, and climb poles up to 40 feet
• Capable of performing duties like pole transfers, maintenance, new build, cable installation, lashings, and strand construction
• Lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Available for overtime, after hours, weekends, emergencies, or on-call
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment
• Work in all weather conditions
• Travel when required
• Experience with splicing active & passive equipment is a plus
