PUSH, Inc. is seeking an Aerial Lineman for local work in Canton, MN. This 100% field position involves outdoor duties, interaction with customers and regulatory bodies, and adherence to OSHA safety standards.

Experience as an Aerial Groundman and a valid driver’s license are favored, with CDL preferred and pre-employment screenings required. The role demands the ability to travel for outages when needed and the capacity to operate heavy equipment and specialized tools in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience as an Aerial Groundman (preferred).
• Thorough understanding of aerial utility installation, safety regulations and methods used in aerial line work.
• Valid Driver’s License; Class A CDL preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
• Demonstrated field experience working with Aerial crews.

Responsibilities

• Plan and initiate projects.
• Interact with customers, utility owners and officials.
• Establish OSHA and customer safety compliance.
• Assist in constructing new aerial and underground services and upgrades.
• Train and mentor Aerial Groundman.
• Tree trimming or route clearing.
• Use of specialized hand tools and equipment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as Digger and Bucket Truck.

TheAerial Lineman builds and maintains aerial telephone systems which can consist of aerial and underground facilities.

Physical and Environmental Factors:

• Ability to work outdoors and to work in all types of outdoor weather.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, carry, and lift as needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Demonstrated field experience working with Aerial crews.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of electricity, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in line construction and maintenance, be familiar with the aerial safety codes and practices, and work methods associated with aerial line work.

• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
