Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a hands-on crew member in Baton Rouge for outdoor vegetation maintenance and storm-related work. You will assist in daily prep, perform tree trimming and clearances, and help manage tools and equipment while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include climbing and operating in utility-rights-of-way, supporting the Foreperson, and adhering to background checks and drug screening requirements. CDL/background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. CDL preferred.

• Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used in daily.
• Observe and practice climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve.

• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards by enforcing safe practices and maintaining a clean work area.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.

Education And Experience
