Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Longview, TX seeks a full-time tree maintenance worker to join our field crew. You will assist the foreperson, prepare trucks and materials, and perform routine and storm-related tree care duties.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the daily upkeep of tools and equipment. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen, be eligible to work in the U.S., and follow all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreperson in preparing truck and materials for each day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree debris.
• Control and dispose of all waste and debris.
• Maintain and organize tools and equipment used daily.
• Practice climbing and tree maintenance skills to improve proficiency.
• Work with other crew members to support daily tasks and safety.
• Protect employees and the public by enforcing safe work practices and keeping area clean.
• Perform storm-related duties as needed.

• Perform duties for storm work as needed.

Position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
