Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Port Vincent, LA, is seeking a dedicated crew member for full-time tree maintenance work. You will assist in daily operations, clear vegetation near utility lines, and support the Foreperson with material planning and safety practices.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in vegetation management or related fields. A valid driver’s license is required; CDL is a plus. Travel is required, and the role offers full-time benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing truck and materials needed for each day at Foreperson’s direction.
• Perform professional tree maintenance activities as directed by Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and tree material.
• Maintain and keep track of all tools and equipment used daily.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area by enforcing safe practices.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.

• Pay or shift range: $20 USD to $23 USD
  This is an estimated pay range for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Education and Experience
