Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Lexington, SC seeks an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune and remove trees near utility lines using a bucket truck. You will perform professional tree maintenance under the General Foreperson and uphold safe operating practices.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, knowledge of knots and rigging, ability to identify tree species, and proficiency with PPE and safety rules. Must be able to work at heights and travel for storm restoration when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management or related fields preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to obtain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees near utility lines with bucket truck assistance.
• Prepare trucks and materials daily.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards.
• Respond to storm restoration work when needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in daily operations.
