Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Indiana is seeking an experienced Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and remove trees using a bucket truck or similar equipment. 2-3 years of professional aerial lift experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Essential duties include following safety rules, preparing trucks, performing maintenance, clearing vegetation near lines, disposing of debris, and assisting the crew. Willingness to travel for storm work is needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience operating an aerial lift trimmer or Jarraff
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
• High school diploma or education equivalent preferred
• Must demonstrate knots, ropes, and rigging knowledge
• Must identify tree species

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce safety rules
• Prepare truck and materials as directed
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed
• Clear and trim trees and brush near utilities
• Clean up and dispose of debris
• Maintain and track tools and equipment
• Observe and improve climbing and tree maintenance skills
• Assist crew members in daily activities
• Safeguard workers and public from hazards
• Perform storm restoration duties as needed
