Job summary

Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc. in Kaukauna, WI is seeking an Aerial Lift Service Technician & Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aerial boom and scissor lifts. Hands-on experience is preferred; training may be provided.

This full-time, non-exempt, union position requires joining IUOE Local 139 with assistance offered. The role emphasizes safety, technical diagnostics, and collaboration with service writers, supervisors, and customers, with a strong focus on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work safely around moving machinery.
• Willing to learn new computer, electronic and hydraulic systems and stay certified.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair on all makes of aerial boom and scissor lifts.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
• Read and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Interact with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers.
• Document actions taken accurately and completely.
• Operate diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain safety compliance and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
