Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is hiring a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

The role includes providing tools and materials, moving equipment, tagging right‑of‑way, and performing digging and traffic control per DOT guidelines. On-site work, overtime, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified is required.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging and operate digging tools as required.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed

• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical toolsDirect/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
