Job summary

Lightspeed Networks is seeking an enthusiastic Lineworker in Pasco, WA to install, maintain, and repair aerial fiber optic cables, manage pole transfers, and support strand construction. The role requires climbing poles, operating bucket trucks, and adhering to safety standards while meeting project timelines.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with on-call rotation and overtime eligibility. A valid driver’s license and basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years’ experience working as a Lineman preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience aloft, including climbing poles and operating aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aerial fiber optic cables, including pole transfers, new builds, overlash, and strand construction.
• Read and interpret fiber construction plans and work orders.
• Pull and place fiber, coaxial, and strand cables using standard aerial construction equipment.
• Ensure safety by setting up safe work areas and following safety protocols (NESC/ NEC).
• Respond to on-call emergencies and maintain accurate construction records.
• Operate company vehicles and bucket trucks safely and coordinate with crew to meet project deadlines.
