GM Equipment Corporation is a fast-growing equipment rental company with locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. We service these areas and beyond with a variety of construction rental equipment. Our main focus includes Aerial Lifts (Boom & Scissor Lifts) and Material Handling Equipment (Telehandlers & Forklifts).

Due to our significant growth, GM Equipment Rentals is seeking 2 full-time Aerial Equipment Mechanics for our Columbus, OH location. We have:

• 1 Field Service Technician
• 1 Shop Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing equipment for rentals through servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance
• Completing proper paperwork for work performed
• Fixing and replacing broken parts
• Performing hydraulic and electrical repairs
• Working both on-site and in the shop environment

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug tests; DOT medical card required for the Field Service Technician
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair
• Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

Applicants should have 3+ years in the equipment repair industry and be knowledgeable in hydraulic and electrical repairs. We offer above-average pay for JLG or Genie certified technicians with 7+ years of experience. Sign-on bonus available.
