Job summary

PHI Health is seeking a Flight Paramedic in Manassas, VA to deliver advanced pre-hospital and inter-facility care from rotor- and fixed-wing transport. You will work under the Base Medical Supervisor, ensuring rapid, safe patient transport and accurate documentation.

The role requires current paramedic certification, 3–5 years of field experience, and multiple essential certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS-PEPP/PHTLS-ITLS). FP-C within 24 months is preferred; bachelor's degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the state of employment.
• Five years of field experience preferred; at least three years required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS certifications; NRP preferred; instructor certs a plus.
• FP-C within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and transport settings.
• Document accurate information for assessment, treatment, and billing during stabilization and transport.
• Maintain knowledge through mandatory meetings, reviews, labs, rotations, and continuing education.
• Maintain active paramedic licensure and required certifications.
• Operate within Medical Director's licensure and program leadership structure.
