Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an Autonomy Engineer to develop, integrate, and test core path planning capabilities for aerial platforms. You'll work across teams to implement GNC algorithms into software stacks supporting commercial and defense applications.

You will collaborate with DoD domain experts and third-party UAS vendors to advance autonomy software on OEM hardware, with emphasis on safety and mission capability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in autonomous vehicle motion planning or robotics.
• Experience with 3D+ path planning using sampling methods (e.g., RRT*).
• Experience with 2.5D planning (A*, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Write software for real autonomous aircraft systems and simulators.
• Develop and integrate aerial autonomy software into product stacks.
• Collaborate with DoD experts and UAS vendors on hardware integrations.
