Job summary

PA-Treatment-and-Healing seeks a part-time AEP Teacher's Aide to support the Alternative Education Program. The aide works under supervision to provide direct services to students during the school term.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers and the Dean of Students, helping with testing, attendance, discipline, and documentation, while maintaining confidentiality and coordinating with parents and districts.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in an educational setting or with adolescents is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dean of Students and/or Teachers in the daily operation of the AEP.
• Assist in testing and evaluation of new students.
• Maintain student attendance and discipline records.
• Verify absence reasons and notify relevant staff and districts.
• Serve as an advisor to students and prepare paperwork as assigned.
• Maintain professional communication with parents and referring districts.
