Job summary

UNICON is seeking an AEO & AI Search Analyst in Torrance, CA, onsite four days a week, to support Answer Engine Optimization and AI search initiatives for clients including Acura. The role involves performance analysis, competitive research, industry insights, and content optimization with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in SEO and hands-on experience with AI visibility platforms; strong analytical, presentation, and project-management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• AEO and AI Search Performance Analysis: monitor and analyze visibility, citations, sentiment, and share of voice; set up dashboards and reports.
• Competitive Analysis: analyze competitor visibility and content strategies.
• Industry Research and Insights: monitor AEO/GEO/AI Search developments and trends.
• SEO and Search Data Analysis: analyze traditional search and AI visibility; support keyword and content-gap analysis.
• Content and Optimization Support: identify opportunities to improve clarity, authority, and structure; develop AEO content briefs.

Position Overview

Client is seeking an AEO & AI Search Analyst to support Answer Engine Optimization and AI Search initiatives across client and Acura, and cross-functional teams.

Job Title: AEO & AI Search Analyst
Location: Torrance, CA

What You Will Be Doing

• AEO and AI Search Performance Analysis

  Support ongoing monitoring and analysis of client & Acura visibility, citations, mentions, sentiment, accuracy and share of voice across AI platforms. Identify performance gaps, content opportunities, areas where brand info is inaccurate or underrepresented. Set up dashboards, prepare reports, maintain benchmarks, recommend actions for review by stakeholder teams.

• Competitive Analysis

  Analyze competitor visibility across AI-generated answers, queries, comparisons, customer consideration topics. Identify competitor strengths, content strategies, citation sources, and emerging best practices.

• Industry Research and Insights

  Monitor developments in AEO/GEO/AI Search, and summarize trends, platform updates, risks and opportunities.

• SEO and Search Data Analysis

  Analyze traditional search performance, and identify relationships between organic search and AI visibility. Support keyword, topic, entity, intent, content-gap, and search-demand analysis.

• Content and Optimization Support

  Identify opportunities to improve content clarity, authority, structure, accuracy, and citation potential. Develop AEO content recommendations, briefs, optimization opportunities, including FAQs, comparison content, structured data, internal linking, technical SEO, third-party sources.

• Reporting and Presentation Development

  Assist in creating clear and visually compelling presentations, translating detailed analysis into business narratives, recommendations, risks and next steps for working teams, leaders and stakeholders. Maintain recurring reports, leadership updates, strategic presentation materials.

• Project and Program Management

  Support project plans, timelines, priorities, dependencies, action items, and status reporting. Coordinate meetings, deliverables, and follow-ups across internal teams and agency partners. Support efforts across cross-functional Marketing, PR, Analytics, IT, Legal and Agency teams.

What’s Needed

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in SEO, organic search, analytics, content strategy, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AEO, GEO, AI Search, or LLM visibility analysis.
• Experience with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and AI visibility platforms such as Brand Radar, Semrush, Trajaan, etc.
• Strong analytical, presentation, project-management, andji communication skills.
