Covenant Health is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) for PRN/Occ, variable hours per pay period, with varied shifts in Tennessee. Responsibilities include administering emergency interventions within scope, report documentation, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with training and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum education not specified; must meet license requirements.
• Two years EMS or healthcare experience preferred.
• Must have TN AEMT license or a valid, unrestricted license in any Compact Member State; valid driver's license and standard insurance coverage.

Aufgaben

• Administer epinephrine for anaphylaxis or cardiac arrest after proper training.
• Provide emergency care for acute illness, trauma, behavioral health, or chronic conditions.
• Report patient information and treatment details to receiving medical staff.
• Coordinate with EMS dispatchers and facilities via radio and other communications.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, restocking, and fueling of assigned vehicle.
• Adhere to Covenant Health EMS dress code while on duty.
• Complete mandatory Covenant Health EMS training and continuing education requirements.
• Local travel is required.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety standards; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
