Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) for PRN/variable shifts in Tennessee. The role involves responding to medical emergencies, performing triage, and delivering emergency care in pre-hospital and interfacility settings. AEMT licensure and a valid driver’s license are required.

You'll work with Covenant Health EMS, coordinating with dispatch and medical control, while maintaining vehicle readiness and documenting patient care. Local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years EMS or healthcare experience preferred.
• Must hold TN AEMT license or a valid, unrestricted license in any Compact state.
• Valid driver’s license and state minimum insurance; clean driving record at hire and during employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and transports in pre-hospital and interfacility settings.
• Perform triage and initial assessment; provide emergency care per scope of practice.
• Document patient condition and treatment and relay to receiving medical personnel.
• Coordinate with EMS dispatch, facilities, and online medical control as required.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks, restock, and refuel after calls; maintain clean vehicles.
