Job summary

EmergyCare in Titusville, PA is seeking an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to deliver pre-hospital emergency care and transport patients to the appropriate medical facility. The AEMT performs basic life support and follows established protocols on ambulance, wheelchair, and medical van duties.

Qualified applicants must maintain current AEMT and BLS-CPR certifications, hold a valid driver's license, and demonstrate solid computer charting skills.

Qualifications

• Must have current AEMT Certification and BLS-CPR Certification.
• Must have valid Driver's License and the ability to drive a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
• Effective computer skills required with the ability to complete quality chart notes at end of shift.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts: nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital emergency care and perform basic life support.
• Transport patients to appropriate medical facilities via ambulance, wheelchair or van.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine illness or injury and prioritize procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge, protocols and participate in continuing education.
