Job summary

EmergyCare is seeking an Advance Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) in Titusville, PA. This part-time position requires providing high-quality pre-hospital emergency care, basic life support, and transport to medical facilities.

The AEMT must hold current AEMT and BLS-CPR certifications, a valid driver’s license, and be able to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends. Entry-level wage starts around $22.35 per hour with experience-based advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have current AEMT and BLS-CPR Certifications.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and the ability to drive a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
• Effective computer skills required with the ability to complete quality chart notes at end of shift.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts: nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• The AEMT is fully responsible for all actions as a certified AEMT and is accountable for the quality of emergency and non-emergency medical care delivered.
• In delivering pre-hospital emergency care, the AEMT performs all techniques of basic life support, provides specified field treatment for medical emergencies, and transports patients to the appropriate medical facility.
• AEMTs conducts patient assessments to assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed, or need for additional assistance, and provides basic life support to all patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
