AmeriPro Health is seeking experienced Advanced EMTs to provide ALS care under approved protocols in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience.
• PHTLS and/or ITLS training or equivalent.
• Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing and NREMT certification (if required by state).

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS and limited ALS patient care in accordance with protocols.
• Establish and maintain IV access and administer approved medications.
• Perform advanced airway management, including supraglottic airways.
• Assist Paramedics with ALS interventions when applicable.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring.
• Safely operate emergency vehicles and equipment.
• Accurately complete patient care documentation.
• Maintain readiness of ambulance, equipment, and medications.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently is required to stand and walk
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
• Technology proficiency

Certification & Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
• Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing
• Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state)
• Current CPR BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS certifications
• Valid State driver's license
• FEMA IS Certifications (IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800)
• Current Ventilator certification with required renewal every three years
• Successful completion of written and practial exam
• Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English
