AmeriPro Health is seeking experienced Advanced EMTs (AEMTs) to deliver high-quality ALS care under approved protocols. You will provide BLS and limited ALS, establish IV access, and assist paraprofessionals as needed, while maintaining readiness of the vehicle and equipment.

Qualifications

• Active EMT license in good standing

• Proficient with typical EMS equipment and communication devices

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS and limited ALS patient care per protocols
• Establish IV access and administer approved meds
• Perform advanced airway management
• Assist paramedics with ALS interventions when applicable
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring
• Safely operate EMS vehicles and equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide BLS and limited ALS patient care in accordance with protocols
• Establish and maintain IV access and administer approved medications
• Perform advanced airway management, including supraglottic airways
• Assist paramedics with ALS interventions when applicable
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring
• Safely operate emergency vehicles and equipment
• Accurately complete patient care documentation
• Maintain readiness of ambulance, equipment, and medications

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Frequently required to stand and walk
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience
• Pre‑Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
• Technology proficiency

Certification & Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
• Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing
• Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state)
• Current CPR BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS certifications
• Valid State driver's license
• FEMA IS Certifications (IS‑100, IS‑200, IS‑700, IS‑800)
• Current ventilator certification with required renewal every three years
• Successful completion of written and practical exam
• Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English
