Job summary

Stellent IT LLC is seeking an AEM Solutions Lead in Brooklyn for a long-term contract with a hybrid work arrangement. You will drive the design system's AEM implementation, shaping components, templates, and workflows that power civic digital experiences.

You will mentor developers, lead reviews, and partner with Architects to deliver scalable AEM solutions, while guiding CI/CD, Cloud Manager operations, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years building with AEM across Sites, Assets, and Sling Jobs/workflows.
• 3+ years of custom application development outside of AEM or Adobe Cloud.
• An AEM certification – Sites Architect, Sites Lead, DevOps, or Sites Developer.
• Leadership experience: mentoring developers, running code reviews, and championing DevOps, Cloud, and Agile best practices.
• Fluency in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations across environments.
• Take ownership of Dispatcher configuration, caching, and performance tuning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, including Cloud Manager operations, automated builds, deployments, and testing.
• Partner with Architects and Product Owners to turn requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to raise development standards.
• Connect AEM to third-party systems to expand platform capabilities.
• Monitor application health and build observability for early issue detection.
• Stay ahead of AEM features and Adobe Experience Cloud roadmap.
