Job summary

Akaasa Technologies seeks an experienced AEM Solutions Lead to guide the NYC.gov redesign, focusing on the Design System's AEM implementation across components, templates, and workflows. You will shape scalable solutions, mentor developers, and collaborate with architects and product owners in a civic-impact project.

The role offers a hybrid work setup in Brooklyn, NY, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, and requires strong hands-on AEM expertise and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years building with AEM across Sites, Assets, and Sling Jobs/workflows.
• 3+ years of custom app development outside AEM or Adobe Cloud.
• Mandatory AEM certification (Sites Architect/Lead/DevOps/Developer).
• Experience leading teams, code reviews, and DevOps/Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
• Own Dispatcher configuration, caching, and performance optimization.
• Support CI/CD pipelines including Cloud Manager, builds, deployments, tests.
• Partner with Architects/POs to translate requirements into solutions.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices.
• Integrate AEM with CRM, DAM, analytics, and custom APIs.
• Monitor health and build observability for early issue detection.
• Stay current with AEM features and Adobe Experience Cloud roadmap.
