AEM Senior Technical Specialist with JavaScript, HTML/CSS

Certifications: Relevant certifications in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, or AEM are a plus.

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist in this role will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of web applications and interfaces using HTML, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JavaScript, and AEM. They will play a key role in designing, implementing, and testing web-based platforms to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy web applications.
3. Create and maintain technical documentation related to web development projects.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth functioning of web platforms.
5. Utilize AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) to manage and deliver digital experiences across multiple channels.
6. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in web development.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
2. Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
3. Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap or AngularJS.
4. Knowledge of web development tools and technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience in implementing a couple of green field AEM implementations as a technical architect.
• Expertise in core web technologies including client/server-side scripting languages such as TypeScript, Alpine JS.
• Deep understanding of Java, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise design patterns.
• Experience with Apache Sling, Felix and a solid understanding of the related building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., along with AEM development and deployment process.
• Experience in implementing transactional web applications with GraphQL API integration.
• Knowledge of integrating with different IDP providers like OKTA and Entra.
• Experience in implementing and enhancing NFRs as technology strategy to align with Application pertinence and scalability.
