Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide critical medical air transportation for Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a core pillar of our service as pilots ensure aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

Key qualifications include FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, medical certificate, and thousands of flight hours. Excellent teamwork and ongoing certification are essential, with potential pilot incentives and housing arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA rotorcraft certificate and medical qualification.
• Minimum flight hour requirements as listed for rotorcraft pilots.
• Preferred B206 helicopter experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical experts to transport patients safely between locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and comply with FARs and operator requirements.
• Maintain accurate regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the team and record on the change board.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateAir Evac Lifeteam and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingAir Evac Lifeteam change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications
