Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation for our customers. You will work with medical experts to safely move patients and ensure aircraft readiness, compliance with manuals and FARs, and thorough documentation.

The role requires substantial rotorcraft flight time, an FAA Commercial certificate, instrument rating, and medical certification. Excellent collaboration with dispatch and crews is essential, with ongoing training and certifications

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum flight hour requirements listed above.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with manuals and FAR requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information according to protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteam’s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)

Preferred Qualifications

• B206Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
• Upload your Pilot License and FAA Medical Certificate
