Job Description:

GDIT is seeking an Aegis Weapon System (AWS) Engineering Test Lead to support the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and testing of Aegis Combat Systems onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Coordinate AWS Engineering groups at each site.
2. Serve as the primary contact for AWS equipment architecture, functionality, and training.
3. Ensure AWS elements are fully operational for testing and operational events.
4. Act as liaison between waterfront test teams and AWS developers for technical issues.
5. Maintain responsibility for system verification, safety, installation engineering, data review, and system support monitoring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 15+ years of experience, or 19+ years of experience without a degree.
• US DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work collaboratively within the Navy and Marine Corps sectors.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Benefits and Additional Information:

• Salary range: $98,062 - $132,672, based on experience and location.
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40
• Travel required: 10-25%
